Mott's Regiment of Militia

Mott's Regiment was made of men from New London and Windham Counties and served first at Fort Ticonderoga in 1775 and eventually at Saratoga in 1777. Mott's Regiment of Militia was an infantry regiment in the Connecticut Militia that served from 1775 to 1777. The regiment was made up of men from New London and Windham Counties.
History, In 1775, Mott's Regiment fought at Fort Ticonderoga, the Battle of Bunker Hill, and the Siege of Boston. In 1776, the regiment fought at the Battle of Long Island, Kips Bay, Harlem Heights, and the Battle of White Plains and in 1777, the regiment fought at Saratoga.
